In the outer suburbs of Melbourne, we were presented with the task of renovating an existing house and completing a new build at the rear. Part of the brief was to create a balanced development designed to avoid the look of a new house behind an old house. Along with the style of home selecting the finishes and profiles was key to the resounding success of the finished product. Key features included European Oak floorboards, open tread timber staircase and integrated indoor-outdoor living.
